Industry challenges focused on 5G Advanced and AI set to launch later in the year

GSMA Director General, Mats Granryd, and Tongqing Gao, Co-chairman of GTI and EVP of China Mobile, have signed anew partnership between GSMA Foundry and the GTI 5G-A×AI Development Programme.

The GTI 5G-A×AI Development Programme was launched at MWC Barcelona 2024, with the objective of opening up new value for intelligent development and innovation. The programme aims to achieve this through the development of new open laboratory environments; the hosting of an innovation community; and by exploring innovative 5G-AxAI integration use cases. 

GTI was founded in 2011 and is now supported by China Mobile, SoftBank, T-Mobile US,  and over 20 industry partners, aiming to promote continued global cooperation toward greater commercial success.
